Merge Dance was founded in 2004 by Artistic Director Meghan Durham in Philadelphia as a performing dance entity committed to collaboration and community through aesthetic and physical inquiry.  In 2008, the organization relocated to Columbus, OH.  Since its founding Meghan Durham/Merge Dance has performed throughout the northeast region, most recently in Philadelphia at the Painted Bride, ArtsBank, Drake Theater, Spirit Wind Internal Arts, Mum Puppetheatre and the Fringe Festival Cabaret; as well as in New Jersey, New York, West Virginia, and Singapore.  Meghan Durham/Merge Dance has performed in Ohio at the Sullivant Theater, OSU Campus and at the BalletMet Performance Space.  Merge Dance has received past funding from the Philadelphia Fund, the Painted Bride Artist Access series, the nEW Festival, Temple University, and Dance Advance (administered through the Pew Foundation), among others.
